Macon Speedway

Macon Speedway is one of the Midwest's premier dirt racing facilities and it is one of Illinois’ most historic racetracks. Macon Speedway hosts many premier events including the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, and the U.M.P. Summer Nationals in the Herald and Review 100. The track consists of a 1/5-mile high-banked dirt oval race track with permanent grandstands that accommodate 3,000 spectators.

 Macon Speedway runs a full gamut of action-packed classes weekly, sanctioned by UMP: Pro Late Models, Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Hornets run just about every Saturday, while B-Mods, Sportsman, Micros, and DII's can be found on the schedule, quite often. In addition to the All Star Circuit Of Champions, Summer Nationals, and the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series, Macon Speedway also plays host to POWRi Midgets, MOWA Sprints, and USAC.  More info on racing at Macon can be found at www.maconracing.com.
